The Elmar 5cm used to be as an enlargement lens on the old ages. This hood was so as to set the Elmar's aperture easy when enlargement was processed. There were no synchro terminal the Leica before model IIIC. This attachment is possible to get an synchro contact for old screw mount Leicas. It synchronize with 1/30 sec. Made in Germany.
The filter pivots the view finder side and lens side, it rotates just 180 degree. We can see through the view finder for the effect of PL filter first, then rotate it on the front of lens. Fit for Sumitar 5cm f2 lens. Made by New York Leitz.
