Though Sonnar 50mm F1.5( or F2) is the lens for the Contax(Rangefinder model), this lens was also made for the Leica Screwmount camera by Carl Zeiss Jena. This lens(my own) has lens coating and T marks on the front ring.Although the Sonnar is originally very sharp lens, my sample has much flare as you see on the photo and still not much sharpness when the lens aperture set to smaller. But it is good for woman's portrait due to its smooth images.
